Ilex verticillata - bundles of 25, 18-24” seedlings
5-15’ tall, sun-part shade, woods, thickets, stream banks, dry-wet, dense, multi-stemmed shrub. Small white June flowers give rise to tightly held small round red berries that persist through winter. MN native holly species, bees frequent the flowers and berries are winter food for birds.
