With the Highway 25 detour you will have to come from the west. Take Roundabout to 35th St NE (Cty Rd 83) east to the next roundabout and head north on Braddock Ave for 0.1 miles. Use the right turn lane, head to the brown and white striped building, stay to the right of the cones and drive around the shed, parking in front of the shed garage door with your vehicle prepared for potentially leaky roots.

The District reserves the right to dispose of orders not picked up or without other arrangements made by May 1. Refunds will not be given for orders not picked up.
Extra Tree Sales:
Remaining trees will be sold Thursday-Saturday,
NOT Wednesday.
They will remain the same price.

Ninebark, false indigo, balsam fir, ponderose pine and white pine currently have sufficient supply.
If species you want are not available, email Eric at eric.mattson@mn.nacdnet.net incase extras become available.

The annual tree sale will be open for orders in early February with pick up usually occurring in late April. Notifications via USPS mail will be distributed with pick up information.

What is the Tree Program?
The Wright SWCD Tree Program is an annual program that provides low cost bare-root tree seedlings to anyone that wishes to participate, Wright County residents or not.

Each year we offer some of the staple species and rotate other species in, providing a variety from year to year. We focus on native tree and shrub species but may have some hardy non-natives such as lilac and crabapple.

A specialty pack is usually offered (hardwood pack, fruiting pack, or flowering pack)

Native flowering plant kits are available in a couple of different habitat type kits. A kit consists of six 6-packs of 6 different species, 36 plants in total.

Native seed mixes are available in 2 different habitat types.

Planting Equipment
Tree Planting Bars - Several planting bars are available for hand planting. These bars are available first come, first served.
Tree Planter Rental - The tree planter is not recommended if planting less than 300 trees. This machine makes light work out of a backbreaking job. The tree planter has its own hydraulic system to raise and lower the trencher. The tree planter can plant up to 5,000 trees per day.​ It runs on a large 12 volt battery (not provided) with post hookups. Contact Eric Mattson to reserve date of planter rental.

Tree Planter Rental
Cost: $100 (plus tax) per whole day.
