Wetland Restoration Opportunity

The Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) is extending the Local Government Road Wetland Replacement Program’s (LGRWRP) easement acquisition sign-up period until January 18, 2024. This extension is the result of the 25% increase in the easement payment rate and the holidays. It is our hope that this increased payment rate and extra time will help you reach out to landowners and find potential wetland restoration projects for the LGRWRP program.
